First Annual Research Conference

Dr. Wendy Wood, one of the three Society leaders at the time of the first conference, welcomed participants to the inaugural event. The day got underway with Dr. Zemke's lecture, followed by a wide array of session topics.

In the spirit of balance and occupation, social events were planned for the participants.
   

Dr. Charles Christiansen from UTMB welcomed Society members to Texas at an evening event. Local cuisine, meeting new and old friends, and a toast for achievement.

With a spirit of networking, colleagues share their thoughts and time.
   

In addition to intellectual stimulation, fun was had by all!
